Hannah Siddle 49th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Society for Immunology 2021

Hannah Siddle

I completed my PhD in genome evolution at the University of Sydney in 2009 and received a NHMRC international fellowship to work at the University of Cambridge (UK) in the Department of Pathology. While at Cambridge I began to study the immune evasion mechanisms used by transmissible cancers and the role of MHC molecules in T cell recognition of cancer cells. After four years in Cambridge I accepted a Lectureship at the University of Southampton in the School of Biological Sciences and now run a lab investigating how selective pressure from the immune system drives tumour evolution. During this time I have been the recipient of the Julia Bodmer Young Scientist Award from the European Federation of Immunogenetics and have taken on the role of Associate Professor in Molecular Immunology.
