Mir Hadi Seyedzadeh

Hadi is doing his PhD in the lab of Kat Gaus/Jesse Goyette in the EMBL Australia node in Single Molecule Science in UNSW. Hadi achieved outstanding 2nd rank in Medical Immunology national exam in Iran, and he became a member of the Iranian National Elites Foundation. He finished his MSc in Medical Immunology at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. In 2018, he was awarded a University International Postgraduate Award by UNSW to undertake his PhD. He mainly uses flow cytometry and High-Throughput confocal microscopy to investigate the difference of immune responses to primary lymphoma cells in different in vitro systems, including a new 3D cell culture using 3D bioprinter. Hadi is interested in optimising the efficiency of killing potential of the immune system against cancer cells and hopes to continue his research as a postdoc after finishing his PhD.
